Workzone was founded in the early 2000s when Rick and Allan realized that
marketers needed a better way to manage their projects and collaborate
with other teams. Of course, it didn’t hurt that they were also great friends
who wanted to work together every day.
Since then, Workzone has helped thousands of businesses become more
productive. We’ve grown from a small rag-tag team to a slightly larger rag-
tag team of people who love to come to work and solve problems every day.
We empower our people to do good in the world, which is why every
employee gets a sizable allowance to donate to a charity of their choice.
We also participate in team volunteering in our local area whenever we get
the chance. It’s one of our most important programs and we’re proud to
have donated $2.1 million over the years.

Ash became CEO of Workzone in 2023 with a clear goal: help real teams cut through chaos and do their best work. After years scaling SaaS companies across industries, he kept seeing the same challenge—smart people stuck in messy workflows, buried under too many tools and not enough clarity.
What drew him to Workzone wasn’t just the product. It was the people, the staying power, and a shared belief that work should feel less reactive and more human.
Ash has led companies through rapid growth and big turnarounds, but his focus here is simple: build a platform that helps high-output teams stay organized, hit deadlines, and collaborate better—without burning out.
He lives in New Jersey with his wife, and together they’re slowly (but surely) working their way toward visiting 100 countries.

Before Workzone, I led high-impact marketing initiatives at Wrike, Change Healthcare, Cross Country Healthcare, and Verizon—driving demand generation, product marketing, and go-to-market strategy for both SaaS and service-based businesses. I’ve worked across complex buyer journeys, built campaigns that fueled growth, and scaled marketing functions from the ground up.
