Workzone can calculate a specific expense amount incurred from time entries. This can be useful for determining billing based on specific time spent on different tasks.
Categories are used to determine different rates for different hours. When creating/editing a task category, you can enter a specific dollars per hour rate. When this category is assigned to a particular task, time entered to that particular task (i.e., via the Task List) will calculate in “Labor expenses” under the Time Tracking section of Reports.
If a particular time frame or other criteria is desired to narrow the data on the Labor expenses report, the blue “Filters” button will provide several choices to specify the information displayed on this report.
